Piglets have a fragile digestive tract, which is why Borregaard has developed a specific blend for piglets, containing both lactic and formic acid.
Following extensive trials, SoftAcid has been found to have acceptable palatability, with dosages of up to 2% having no detrimental effect on feed uptake.
Data generated shows that SoftAcid is an effective product for the prevention of digestive problems, which results in a better utilisation of the feed and improved animal performance. It was also found to have a positive influence on the microbial population of the piglet's digestive system, resulting in a reduction in the number of coliform bacteria present in the small intestine.
- SoftAcid FL+
- Good digestibility effect
- Strong pH effect
- Strong antibacterial effect
- Low smell to avoid a drop in feed consumption
